Development of a scalable CMS hub system for the Jung von Matt Group with focus on multi-site management, flexible module structure and reusable theming for individual sub-brands.
JvM Hub – One Common Platform for Diverse Brands
Project Overview
Commissioned by the agency group Jung von Matt, a centralized hub system based on NEOS CMS was conceived and implemented. The goal was to offer the various departments and brands under the “Joint Momentum” umbrella a common technical platform without sacrificing individual visual identities and modular flexibility.
Challenge
The Jung von Matt Group faced the challenge of uniting several independent web presences under one system – with the following requirements:
- Central administration while maintaining the independence of individual units
- Flexible module architecture that is adaptable for different content needs
- Custom theming to make individual brand identities visible
- Scalability to easily integrate additional units
Solution
Together with the internal project team, a technically sophisticated and future-proof solution was developed:
- Multi-domain capable NEOS setup: Use of NEOS dimension structure for simple multi-tenancy
- Module toolkit: Development of versatile content modules with configurable variants
- Theme engine: Implementation of a flexible theming system for individual styles per unit
- Content reuse & workflows: Centrally manageable content and structured editorial processes
- Close coordination: Ongoing technical consulting and close collaboration with Design & UX
Results
- One hub, many brands: Over 6 departments of the JvM Group on one NEOS instance
- Time savings through reusability of modules and central management
- Individual brand presences despite unified codebase
- Future-proof: New units or landing pages can be integrated with minimal effort
